I don’t like taking stock of the past year for several reasons. I’ll sum up just 3 of them:
- the new year is just a commonplace. Sometimes it is a reason to start some good path and project we had in mind before, some other times it is just a reason more not to do something yet (and ever). We just say ‘I’ll begin with new year’ and then the moment just passes by.
- It’s better to consider what we do day by day, and if it’s worth doing (no need a end of the year stock)
- It’s a too long process, and I’m lazy 🙂
But if I look back at the pictures that I’ve taken recently (something that I really like to do as often as possible) I must say that my last 12 month had very special moments that I like to remember, becausue they warm my soul up.
So now I’ll share my happiness with you through some InstaPics that remind me how great was my year, even during the many moments of loneliness and nostalgia that I’ve had.
A new place to call home
Home is such a ‘mobile’ idea! Home is where your soul is but I must admit that this year my soul has often and gratefully rested in this new space, with a fireplace.
The fire-place is… the place of the fire. The place where my fire finds a place to be.
It’s so amazing, isn’t it?
Cheers to the glasses of wine that I’ve drunk alone or in very good company all the year round.
Family reunion in a city I didn’t Know.
Still full of emotions if I think about my beloved cousin’s graduation. What A great feeling to be there with him and all my beloved relatives.

Gente Simpotica: such an amazing campaign
I had the honour to be asked to take part to the visual campaign of the Simpotica Wine.
The shooting day was rainy and cold, but the ‘home’ where it happened was full of warmth and happiness.
Sofia and the best travel mate ever!
Nadia was my top ginger travel mate of 2015! Epic walking, long talking and laughing, long silences and good GOOD wine in the Bulgarian main City. Days full of surprises.

Travelling my homeland in Summer
Travelling all around the summer of my homaland, Puglia, is one of the greatest gifts that I hope to enjoy for as many years as possible. And that’s it.
Back to a very hot NYC
And when I say hot, I really mean it.
Also #nyc was quite #hot. Un video pubblicato da sabrina (@in_my_suitcase) in data:
On the road to Switzerland
Well, Zurich was less hot. Definitely less!
Inchisrto di Puglia
This was one of the most interesting things I had the opportunity to do: I was asked to write a short novel about Lecce to be published in the book ‘Inchiostro di Puglia’. The book is not in Amazon for great political and social reasons but it’s a project aiming at promoting and helping libraries, mainly smaller ones. This book is one of the revelations of the year, one of the best way to discover the amazing region of Puglia. This project believes in Puglia, in libraries and in people. I was so lucky to be a part of this travel! (Still going on).

Chaperonning my dear Cousin from Australia
My dear John finally arrived from Melbourne. Some years ago he chaperoned me and my bro all around the Victoria state. Eventually, the time to chaperonne him and having a good time again in Salento arrived. Miss him so much.
